Welcome

Biography

Berthe Tanwo Njole

I am Berthe Tanwo Njole, a Belgian actress of Cameroonian origin, born in Yaoundé and based in Brussels, Belgium. I work across film, television, theatre, voice acting, and music, developing a multidisciplinary career in the performing arts.

I am a multilingual artist, fluent in French, English and Dutch, which allows me to collaborate on international productions.

I hold a Master’s degree in Advertising (2003) from IHECS University College in Brussels, as well as diplomas in Music Theory and Jazz-Pop Piano/Songwriting from Belgian music academies.

My work as an actress includes roles in productions such as Mind of Thoughts (2025), Le Grand Cirque (2023), Thuis (Home), and the series Theodosia (BBC / international production), as well as various film, television, and commercial projects across Europe.

A defining chapter of my stage career was my involvement in Exhibit B by Brett Bailey, where I worked as both a performer and Stage Manager. The production toured internationally (England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Chile, South Korea) from 2014 to 2016.

Beyond screen work, I am also a singer (mezzo-soprano)-songwriter, voice artist, and stage performer and I play piano.

I had the huge honor to perform on the iconic stage of L’Olympia in Paris, as an opening act for Toots and the Maytals in 2018 and Inna De Yard Collective in 2019.

Last but not least, I’m the creator and host of the podcas Industry Talks, available on YouTube and Spotify.
